Lakeview Hotel

I stayed here twice in the last 6 weeks, going and coming back from the west. So this is a "double" review. I stayed in the back detached section, and the front room with a view of the lake. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, and the overall care and consideration given by all the staff. They were on top of everything, and took the time to handle any concern I had. My stay was relaxing and the hotel is in a nice quiet area of the town, overlooking the lake. A loon calling was the perfect ending to the long travelled day.....along with the comfy beds! I would like to personally thank Tina for making me feel so welcome! I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place to stay. Room was clean and renovated. Big TV. And front desk service was A1. Very friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Plus an amazing view. Definitely will be coming back :)

The hotel was a pleasant surprise! Despite the affordable price, everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and always ready to help

As an explorer, here's my spin... traveling through the area and needed a place to stay for the evening. The front area of the hotel looked run down, and the lobby / reception a little dated, however the rooms in the new section which is located detached from the main building was great, clean and updated. I would stay there again with friendly propietor showing us the rooms for options.

This place is fantastic if travelling through the lake superior region. Tina at the front desk was so welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Its winter but my view of lake Wawa still very nice. I recommend stopping into woodys pub for dinner and a beer. Friendly staff and locals

This was such a pleasant surprise during our cross country road trip. The lady at the front desk was exceptionally kind and even gave us a free room upgrade. She made sure we had a nice room and asked about our preferences with two dogs. The rooms were surprisingly nicely furnished and felt clean. We would be back! Thank you Lakeview for a wonderful overnight stay.

I’ve stayed here twice in the past six months. Once in summer and once in winter, and both visits were exceptional. You can’t miss it if you’re passing through Wawa, and it truly feels like a hidden gem in Northern Ontario. Despite the reasonable price, the rooms were cozy, clean, and well maintained. The staff are genuinely kind and welcoming, always easy to reach and happy to offer local suggestions. The food was also very good, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I always chose a room facing the lake, and it's absolutely worth it. It has now become my must-stop hotel when traveling to Thunder Bay. Highly recommended.

Had to stay in Wawa for 6 nights due to a car accident. Small town but Lakeview hotel was conveniently placed close to shops, restaurants, mechanics, etc. and it was the best priced hotel in town at the moment. Lots of rooms (clean and nice) and super friendly staff and management. Free coffee in the mornings and also has the only pub in town. Highly recommend!
